Alperton Community School, situated in London, is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form that has been granted academy status. It is distinguished by its specialism in math, computing, and the arts.
West 1 was tasked with completing a turnkey project at Alperton Community School before students returned from the school holiday. The school specializes in math, computing, and arts and has approximately 1750 students across all key stages.
Various areas of the school were targeted for upgrades, with a focus on MEPH improvements to accommodate the refurbished spaces. Toilets throughout the school were upgraded with new cubicles, IPS panels, sanitaryware, vanity units, and furniture, and all working areas were redecorated with specialist vinyl signage.
A thorough CDP package was implemented, which necessitated close coordination with client consultants to guarantee that the employer's requirements were met within the designated timeframes.
In addition, the gas mains were modified to supply new Bunsen burners in the science lab's new high tables, ensuring a safe and controlled supply.
