Vienna House is a project involving the refurbishment to CAT A specifications, spanning across 3 floors and totalling 30,000 square feet. The project is located in Birmingham and is in close proximity to Birmingham International Airport.
One of the key highlights of the project was the contemporary high-class reception area, which was designed to make a lasting impression on visitors. The reception area featured a new double-height ceiling with feature lighting that added to the overall grandeur of the space. The new main entrance extended curtain wall system and curved sliding door also added to the modern look of the space, while providing ample natural light and a welcoming atmosphere.
In addition to the reception area, the project included a range of other works that helped to enhance the overall aesthetics and functionality of the space. One of the most notable additions was the luxe commuter facilities in an architecturally designed pavilion, which aimed to encourage and support sustainable commuting. The high-end bespoke joinery and new vertical transport also added to the luxurious feel of the space.
The project also involved a range of technical works, including the replacement of mechanical plant, new heating, ventilation, and cooling equipment, and new architectural lighting and lighting control. The refurbishment of the primary and secondary staircases and the new high-end WC facilities throughout also added to the overall functionality of the space.
External works were also completed as part of the project, including the specialist cleaning of external facades and soft landscaping. The full roof cleaning and new floor coverings and tiling also helped to complete the overall look of the space.
Overall, the project was a great success, thanks to West 1's attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. The finished space was not only modern and luxurious but also sustainable and functional, making it an ideal workspace for any business looking to make a lasting impression on clients and employees alike.
