A West 1 Director with a strong knowledge of the construction industry and a specialist knowledge within the electrical sector. Tim is a highly professional business conscious individual, with a successful track record in the
construction industry spanning over twenty years.

Tim joined the West 1 Team as an Associate Director in January 2017 and is now a West 1 Director. Tim is a vital part of the West 1 team and paramount to the future development within West 1.

Outside the office, Tim enjoys playing golf, watching football and spending time with his family.

Will is a detailed and client focused Construction Director with extensive experience across numerous sectors. He demonstrates natural flair for targeting key deliverables and de-risking projects to ensure timely delivery for West 1’s clients.

Will has been an employee at West 1 for 11-years and held a leadership position since 2011. Targeting problem areas and focusing on buildability solutions is where he excels, ensuring smooth workflow management systems and seamless delivery of projects.

In his own time, Will enjoys clay pigeon shooting, golf and spending time with friends and family.

Managing Director and Founder of West 1, Dean has been instrumental in the growth and development of West 1 every step of the way. Dean has led from the front in all aspects of the business, driving client relationships, ensuring the successful delivery of all projects. Having developed West 1 to the position it is currently in, Dean is looking to the future – sustainable growth and expansion of the team, whilst ensuring the highest quality is always delivered.

Dean is a big family man, spending most of his free time with his wife and children or you can find in the ring where he’s a keen boxer.

Dynamic and highly qualified Operations Manager with key strengths in planning and problem solving with the ability to develop and sustain rapport with key individuals internally and externally.

Joanna is energetic, self-motivated and highly efficient, possessing 7 years of experience in the Construction industry. Offering vast expertise adapting to fast-paced and compliance-focused environments, highly skilled at coordinating and supporting the delivery of a wide range of construction projects whilst developing and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, sub-contractors and architects.​

Outside work, Joanna likes spending quality time with her children by travelling, cycling, swimming, skating and practising kickboxing. She is up for any challenge.

A dynamic Director with a strong passion for the construction industry, Michael delivers projects across all sectors within West 1 ensuring that the requirements of our client base are met at all levels.

Michael is process driven and has been instrumental in many of the day to day processes currently within West 1. He has exceptional all-round construction experience having worked in the industry for over two decades

In his spare time Michael is kept busy with supporting his children’s respective sporting achievements and is a keen chef at home.

Dick is a technically minded Degree Qualified, Construction professional. His experience has been gained over 20 years in the industry and has taken him from working on site as a Carpenter on to Site Management across multiple disciplines, and then forward to his current position in the West 1 team.

He is focused on detail and problem solving, using the knowledge gained over his career so far to deliver to the best standard possible for our clients.

Outside of work, Dick enjoys spending time together with his Family, Running and Snowboarding. His long term ambition is to be the first octagenarian to land a 1440 Quad Cork.

Since joining the West 1 team in early 2011, Rob has worked with the team to aid in company development and growth, whilst developing his own skill set as a Senior Estimator working within the Estimation Team.
He has worked on a wide variety of projects throughout the years, and is constantly learning in this demanding industry. In addition, Rob support the Contracts Team by providing a procurement role when required.

In his free time, Rob enjoys days out with his family, which includes visiting new places in the UK and playing golf at his local course with friends.

Dan is highly motivated, has excellent attention to detail and has a vast amount of knowledge of
the construction industry through his 11 years in the construction industry. Dan takes pride in his
work, from inception through to completion making him stand out from the status quo.

His first introduction into the construction industry was as a kitchen fitter, after a 4 year move working in retail/hospitality management, Dan returned to the construction industry and has worked on a variety projects within the commercial and residential sectors.

Dan volunteers his spare time to the police force as a Special Constable and is a big Tottenham supporter.

A highly driven, tenacious and focused contracts manager with a passion for the construction industry. With early experience working within construction as a multiskilled tradesman moving into business management co-founding a successful business in the private sector. Craig has gained over 4 years’ experience within the commercial refurbishment industry.

Having managed the full project lifecycle from inception to aftercare and projects up to £6m, Craig strives to deliver project deliverables and exceed client expectations which personifies our company’s ethos.

For fun outside of work, Craig enjoys the Formula 1, cycling and is an avid skier.

An enthusiastic professional senior contracts manager with over 20 years’ experience, Martyn has managed and delivered many projects across all sectors. He has been involved in the housing/residential and commercial development works which has only helped and assisted with his growth and development within the construction industry.

Martyn enjoys socialising and eating out with friends and family. Having been a semi-professional footballer in his younger days, he is still an avid football fan and enjoys watching and playing (sometimes).

Martyn travels to Spain as often as he can to visit family and enjoys the local culture and warm weather.

Steve is a dynamic Senior Estimator with a keen eye for detail, with a BSc. in Construction Management and 10+ years experience in Pre-Construction. He heads up the estimating department with a view to deliver on all client needs in a stress-free and timely environment. Steve has a Tier 1 main contractor background and has enjoyed developing his career within pre-construction since 2011.

Outside of the industry Steve enjoys keeping fit through weightlifting and competitive Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He is also a keen (but not particularly good) skier whenever the chance presents itself.

Angus joined the firm in August 2019 and has proven to be a vital member of the finance department. He is extremely meticulous to detail, specifically with figures and record keeping, paving the way for ease of financial management.

Outside of work, he is an avid skier and ex-racer, he is often found racing in the City of London ski events, namely the Inter Livery ski championships and has competed in the Interbourse ski races. Angus holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Coventry University..
